If you’re a pilgrim from Goa getting ready for the sacred Shri Amarnathji Yatra 2025, the first essential step is to obtain a Compulsory Health Certificate (CHC). This certificate confirms that you’re physically fit for the high-altitude pilgrimage and must be issued only by government-authorized medical officers.
To facilitate pilgrims, the Health Department of Goa has designated hospitals and health officers across North and South Goa who are officially permitted to issue CHCs in the format prescribed by the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board (SASB).
