For yatris residing in or traveling through Ladakh to begin their Shri Amarnathji Yatra 2025, obtaining a Compulsory Health Certificate (CHC) is a vital step. The CHC certifies that a pilgrim is physically fit to undertake the high-altitude trek and must be issued only by government-authorized doctors.
The Health Department of Ladakh UT has nominated medical professionals in both Leh and Kargil districts to issue CHCs in the official format prescribed by the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board (SASB).
