Singh underscored the pivotal role of the Labour Department in ensuring the smooth conduct of the yatra, urging officials to gear up for the timely and hassle-free registration of service providers to facilitate SANJY-2025. He emphasized the significance of advance registration, both in native districts and at designated camps in Ganderbal and Anantnag Districts, ensuring the issuance of RFID Cards in coordination with the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board (SASB) and concerned District Administrations.

The Labour Commissioner instructed swift communication of the commencement dates of the registration process to service providers through various media channels, including print, electronic, and social media platforms.

Highlighting the importance of coordination with other line departments, Singh emphasized the need for sharing the list of contractors engaged for Yatra-related tasks. This collaboration aims to safeguard the interests of contract workers regarding wages, working hours, and basic amenities.

During SANJY-2023, a total of 32,819 service providers were registered, comprising Ponywalas, Palki/Dandiwalas, and Pithuwalas. Registration camps were strategically established across key locations in Districts Ganderbal and Anantnag, in addition to other district headquarters, facilitating the registration process for Yatra-2025.

As the Labour Department intensifies its efforts, the stage is set for a successful and spiritually enriching Shri Amarnathji Yatra-2025, promising a memorable pilgrimage experience for all devotees.
